This months question is:

My dryer seems to be taking an extremely long time to dry my clothes. Do I need to have the heating element replaced?

In most cases, if your dryer is heating, you do not have to replace the heating element. The first thing to check for is a crushed vent hose behind the dryer. If this hose looks to be in good shape, remove the hose from the dryer. Next, run a load of clothes through the dryer to see if this solves the problem. If the dryer seems to work properly with the vent hose disconnected, you will need to have your ductwork cleaned. If this does not correct the situation, please give us a call at (352) 402-0143.
